Thermal & Infrared Tests
The following is a list of our Thermal & Infrared tests. These tests are used to qualify/quantify the characteristics of raw materials and/or molded parts , in addition to recording changes and/or reactions to temperature. Thermal Analysis provides a rapid method for determining the temperature profile of a polymer or material. The composition of a material may be determined by this method and is used widely for QC purposes. CRT has provided links (as shown below) as an aid in understanding some of the common tests used in our industry. The links explain, in a simplified format, the fundamentals of accepted tests used by suppliers, compounders/manufacturers, molders, etc. Please click on the links below to review these tests. Should you need additional information, please contact us directly at (714) 283-2032. You may fax a request for a proposal at (714) 283-1365. A more detailed discussion of these tests may be found at Thermal Testing. Should you need additional information about CRT Laboratories' Thermal and Infrared testing capabilities please contact us via our RFQ Form or call us at (714) 283-2032.
